HR Advisor - Fixed Term Contract

About The Role
We invite applications for position of Fixed Term HR Advisor based at our Dyce Avenue office for a period of maternity cover. The fixed term period will be for a period of six (6) months with a possible extension to twelve (12) months.
Overall Purpose of the role
Providing front line HR support to the Senior HR Business Partner(s) and wider UK HR Management team. A generalist role supporting at all stages of the Employee Life Cycle, delivering on, recruitment. onboarding, Policies and Procedures, providing HR guidance and support to both Management and Employees and supporting the implementation of HR Strategies across the UK organisation.
Principle responsibilities;
- Providing HR Guidance to Managers and Employees on policies and procedures
- Assisting HR Management with the roll out and implementation of HR Strategy
- Supporting the HR BP’s in areas such as Recruitment, Contractual Documentation, Absence Management, Performance Management, and Case Work.
- Create & maintain employee records on Workday system
- Ensure accurate, timely and audit compliant instructions are provided to payroll for the monthly pay-run.
- Supporting the HR BP’s with Recruitment including creating job descriptions, adverts and interview questions, shortlisting of candidates and conducting interviews.
- Oversight and delivery of Induction programmes
- Maintaining accurate employee Headcount reports and supporting BP’s with Manpower Planning information, including attrition rates, and recruitment data.
- Assisting HR BP’s with the administration and delivery of Bristow Cadet & Apprenticeship Schemes.
- Undertaking & supporting projects as directed by the HR Managers
- Supporting the delivery of Employers Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including participating in and planning of STEM events, schools engagement, Air Cadet Partnership Programme and Careers Fairs.
- Keeping up to date with current employment legislation and best practices and sharing this knowledge with the wider team
- Supporting the HR BP’s with Change Management Programmes including redundancies, TUPE & Restructuring, including preparing documents, due diligence, formal minute taking and conducting employee meetings.
- Administration and guidance on Visa’s, work permits and sponsorship requirements

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- HR Degree – Preference will be given to candidates with HR or Business Degree.
- CIPD Qualified - Preference will be given to candidates with CIPD qualification.
- GCSE English – proven verbal and written communication skills.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in delivery of HR Administration
- Good knowledge of Employment Legislation – both current and upcoming
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- A good communicator, able to develop relationships both internally and externally.
- Adopts a proactive approach to managing work.
- Problem analysis and problem solving ability is required to ensure solutions are determined.
- Is collaborative, works with all stakeholders to deliver results and keep others informed.
- Is resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to juggle conflicting priorities and volumes of work
