As a member of the OSCQ Human Resources team, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a critical role focused on driving strategic HR solutions to support senior leadership teams at the Functional and Strategic Business Unit (SBU) levels. This role is integral to aligning HR initiatives with business strategies, enabling large-scale organizational changes, and ensuring the development of high-performing teams while fostering positive employee experiences. This role will support Global Security Services, Environment, Health & Safety and Core.

In this dynamic and fast-paced role, the HRBP will partner closely with both senior & executive business leaders to understand their strategic goals and operational priorities. Leveraging a deep understanding of organizational needs, the HRBP will proactively deliver HR solutions consistent with the team’s vision and mission.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, manage projects and priorities effectively, and exercise sound judgment while collaborating across a matrixed organizational structure. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions will be key to success in this role. By delivering impactful HR solutions, the HRBP will play a pivotal role in driving organizational success and enabling teams to achieve their full potential.

What You Will Do

  • Drive People Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to align workforce strategies with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Analyze and Apply Data Insights: Translate workforce data and emerging trends into actionable insights that address business challenges and opportunities.
  • Foster a High-Performance Culture: Promote a culture where employees feel valued, engaged, and empowered to contribute to organizational success.
  • Leadership Coaching and Development: Provide coaching and development support to senior & executive leaders, enabling them to build strong, capable teams that drive business results.
  • Workforce and Talent Planning: Lead workforce planning, talent reviews, and succession planning to ensure long-term organizational stability, growth, and readiness for the future.
  • Organizational Effectiveness: Optimize organizational structures and capabilities to support evolving business needs.
  • Strategic Change Management: Lead and manage large-scale organizational changes and complex people initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and successful outcomes.
  • Program and Initiative Leadership: Provide strategic planning and project management expertise to execute key HR programs and initiatives, such as annual compensation planning, talent management, and employee engagement efforts.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience leading and delivering HR projects and initiatives that align with organizational objectives and produce defined business outcomes.
  • Experience advising and coaching people leaders on HR challenges, including employee performance optimization, talent development, and resolution of complex employee issues.
  • Experience designing and implementing comprehensive talent strategies, including succession planning, leadership development initiatives, and workforce planning processes.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Located near a major Raytheon site (Tucson)
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization and handle high levels of confidentiality
  • Experience aligning HR initiatives with business strategies.
  • Experience providing HR consultation and guidance to Director or Executive level leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong HR and business acumen with experience driving HR strategic partnerships in influencing business results
  • Ability to comprehend complex issues and identify opportunities to add value and deliver effective solutions
  • Experience with HR business applications and systems, such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Qlik, or similar databases and query tools
  • Experience with Microsoft suite including PowerPoint and strong Excel skills

Hybrid : Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
