We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker / Auditor to support daily warehouse operations while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with company procedures. This position will perform physical warehouse duties, inspect and verify inventory, conduct cycle counts, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and has strong attention to detail

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, count, and organize incoming inventory.
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare products for shipment.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits.
  • Compare physical inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies.
  • Verify quantities, product numbers, labels, and shipment documentation.
  • Identify damaged, missing, misplaced, or incorrectly recorded inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and audit records.
  • Report inventory discrepancies and operational issues to management.
  • Assist with warehouse organization and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and inventory-control standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as authorized and trained.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, returns, and other warehouse duties as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, auditing, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform repetitive counting and inspection tasks.
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to read and understand inventory labels, packing slips, and shipping documents.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move warehouse materials safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with warehouse management or inventory management systems.
  • Experience performing inventory audits or cycle counts.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanners and handheld warehouse devices.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Ability to identify inventory discrepancies and resolve basic issues.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry items consistent with the requirements of the position.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures, noise, and physical activity.
