About The Role

Roles & responsibilities

Being a part of KPMG Product Business Partnering team, the candidate will be required to support Product/Application Owners in ensuring application business logic and processes adhere to industry standards, best practices, and organizational requirements.

Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of of TA capabilities, and alignment with Testing Management Office for TA testing needs, supporting both product lifecycle and roadmap execution. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, converting them into clear, actionable user stories that guide development.

Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Manager, Application Owner, and Scrum Master, incorporating stakeholder feedback.

Facilitate cross‑functional PI/quarterly planning, ensuring alignment with budgets, risk controls, and compliance requirements.

Participate in and/or lead Agile ceremonies—including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily standups—ensuring clarity of sprint goals, user stories, and tasks.

Maintain seamless communication between business stakeholders and build teams, providing timely clarification and guiding the sprint cycle.

Support testing activities by aligning test plans with requirements, participating in UAT, and ensuring solution quality and completeness.

Track and communicate project progress, risks, and decisions, supporting the Product Manager through all phases of the SDLC.

Prepare comprehensive documentation and maintain compliance with firm policies, quality standards, and audit requirements.

Create or update training materials and guidance documents to support user adoption and knowledge transfer.

Assist in issue resolution by drafting defects, release notes, and incorporating feedback to improve product functionality and user experience.

Mandatory technical & functional skills

Strong stakeholder management and clear, concise communication (written, verbal, presentation).

Proficiency with Agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban); backlog and work item management.

Comfort with financial/benefits tracking and outcome-based KPIs.

Collaboration across time zones and cultures; ability to lead without authority.

High attention to detail, documentation rigor, and commitment to quality

This role is for you if you have the below

Educational qualifications

Qualified Chartered Accountant with technical expertise/ B-Tech with MBA

CISA qualification is preferred.

Work experience

CAs: 1-2 years of post qualification work experience and mandatory articleship/internship experience – 3 years

Others: 4-6 years of relevant work experience
