Boilerroom Mechanic - Evening Shift

About The Role
Essential Job Duties
- Good Samaritan hospital boiler room is maintained 24 hours a day.
- Mechanics may be required to work additional overtime if someone on a shift or oncoming shift would happen call in.
- Perform repair services to other areas of the hospital on an irregular basis.
- Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, cleaning and repair boilers and boiler room equipment on a daily basis.
- Start and stop various pieces of equipment.
- Maybe required to operate, repair and maintain the SSM.
- Test boiler water, add chemical if need and maintain proper limits.
- Performs any other jobs assigned.
- Report problems to supervisor in a timely manner.
Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned
- Required to use a computer to perform certain jobs.
- Check’s all mechanical room during shift and roof top ac units.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Treat’s everyone with respect.
Job Specifications
- Education: High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Experience: Two 2 years or more work experience. Valid Driver’s License.
