Senior IT Project Manager (eCommerce)

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale technology and digital transformation projects within a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate is an excellent stakeholder manager, highly structured, and able to coordinate cross-functional teams across business, operations, technology, data, finance, and external vendors.
Retail or e-commerce experience is a plus, as well as relevant PM certifications—but not required.
Key Responsibility
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of several projects simultaneously from initiation, planning, execution, UAT, deployment, to stabilization.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, RAID logs, and communication plans.
- Ensure all milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage and drive cross-functional alignment across Business, Tech, Data, Operations, Finance, and Vendors.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Engage a large and diverse group of stakeholders; facilitate decision-making, alignment, and conflict resolution.
- Act as the primary contact between business teams, technology teams, and external vendors.
- Prepare and lead Steering meetings and working groups with clear updates, issues, and next steps.
Requirements & Change Management
- Work with business users to gather, validate, and prioritize business requirements and functional flows.
- Coordinate with tech teams to review solution design, integration approach, and system feasibility.
- Plan and manage change impact, user adoption, training, and communication to ensure smooth rollout.
Quality Assurance & UAT
- Oversee test planning, UAT execution, and defect management.
- Ensure systems meet business requirements, performance standards, and operational readiness.
- Manage cutover plan, go-live activities, and hypercare support.
Governance, Reporting & Documentation
- Track and report progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and financials to Line manager and management.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, procurement process, budget controls, and audit requirements.
- Maintain complete documentation: BRD/FSD, SOW, change requests, decisions, and sign-offs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in project management, PM, PMO, digital transformation, or IT implementation.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, FMCG, or logistics is an advantage.
- PM certifications (PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, Prince2) are a plus but not required .
- Strong working knowledge of system integration, APIs, data flows, and digital platforms (nice to have).
