About The Role

About the Role

As an Electro Mechanical Service Technician, you will be part of our Aftermarket Field Service team, supporting the service, repair and commissioning of NOV Wireline equipment. Based primarily at our Kintore facility, you will also travel to NOV and customer locations globally, including offshore environments.

You will bring a strong electrical foundation while applying and developing your mechanical capability. Working across equipment that combines electrical and mechanical systems, you will diagnose faults, complete repairs and find practical solutions that help keep our customers' equipment operational.

About the Team

You will join a specialist Field Service team within our wider service organisation. While the role offers independence, particularly during field assignments, you will have access to experienced colleagues and wider technical and manufacturing support when required.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on role where no two assignments are exactly the same. You may be troubleshooting equipment at our facility, supporting commissioning activities or responding to a breakdown at a customer location.

In the field, you will work directly with customers, understand their requirements and take ownership of finding effective solutions. This may involve diagnosing complex faults, identifying practical alternatives and coordinating the resources required to return equipment to operation safely and efficiently.

Why Join NOV?

This opportunity gives you the chance to broaden your expertise beyond a purely electrical role and develop your electro-mechanical capability while gaining exposure to specialist Wireline equipment.

You will have opportunities to work across different technical environments, gain international and offshore field exposure and build your customer-facing experience while continuing to develop your technical knowledge and skills.

What We Offer

You will be part of a global organisation where technical expertise, safety, quality and practical problem-solving are central to how we work. NOV provides opportunities for role-specific learning and development, including relevant technical training where required.

Diversity & Inclusion

At NOV, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. We value diversity in all its forms and believe that different perspectives drive innovation and success. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
