About The Role
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud & Security Operations Engineer to support and maintain secure and reliable cloud and on-premise environments. The ideal candidate will be experienced in infrastructure operations, firewall and security configuration, scripting for automation, and access control governance across Azure, AWS, and enterprise network platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support for Azure and AWS environments, including:
- VPC/VNet setup, security group configuration, IAM setup, and health checks on cloud workloads.
- Collaborate with application and engineering teams to review and optimize firewall rules, IPS/IDS configurations, proxy settings, and access controls in line with security and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues on VMware environments, including storage thresholds, snapshots, and guest network configurations.
- Manage and maintain Linux and Windows-based appliances, handling administrative and operational tasks as needed.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash for tasks like log parsing, backups, and scheduled jobs.
- Administer F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM) and F5 ASM WAF to enhance application performance and defend against threats such as XSS and SQL Injection.
- Required Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience managing and configuring enterprise firewalls: (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX)
- Solid understanding of cloud networking within AWS and Azure, including: VPCs, Security Groups, IAM roles, NAT Gateways, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Azure AD, VNets
- Experience with proxy and DNS security solutions such as: Zscaler, Cisco WSA, Scansafe, internal DNS filtering
- Practical experience with IAM policies and Privileged Access Management tools (e.g., BeyondTrust PAM)
- Network hardening knowledge using CIS benchmarks; familiarity with NIST, ITIL, and internal audit standards
- Excellent documentation habits – ability to update SOPs, record recurring issues, and contribute to post-incident reviews
Preferred Certifications (a plus)
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator / Security Specialty
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- CISSP, CCNP Security, or similar
- ITIL Foundation
- Soft Skills & Additional Attributes:

- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills
Educational qualification
- BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)
