Job Description

Advocates for patient safety and protects patients and providers by promoting safe practices and policies.
Escalates patient safety concerns to appropriate leadership with honesty and integrity.
Acts as an in-house consultant for data and information needs to guide performance improvement.
Defines project scope to maintain focus and uses measures to ensure interventions are sustained over time.
Communicates regularly with stakeholders about progress toward goal achievement, critical factors, and obstacles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to apply mature, independent judgment to situations that may arise. Good judgment is essential in prioritization of job responsibilities when unusual situations occur. Consequences of decisions may be extensive. [Required]

Advanced Access database skills [Required]
Facilitation of various PI methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, PDSA, etc.) [Preferred]
Solid analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills [Required]
Ability to conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical controls [Required]
Has knowledge of quality & process improvement methodologies such as lean six sigma [Required]
Ability to succinctly translate high-level concepts into actionable items [Required]
Awareness of basic project management concepts and methodologies [Required]

Pay Range

$60,756.80 - $113,006.40
