Job Description
Schedule: Full Time 8am-5pm
Shift: Monday-Friday with Rotation Supervisor On-Call. Rare weekends/afterhours.
Location: Central Florida Hospice, office sits in Altamonte Springs but covers Seminole, Orange and Osceola Counties.
Develops and implements strategic plans to achieve operational goals. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory standards. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and patient care. Oversees financial performance, including budgeting and cost containment. Develops and enforces corporate policies and procedures. Monitors and reports on financial metrics and operational efficiency. Informs the Board of Directors about regulatory developments and business activities. Manages business development and expansion opportunities. Represents the organization in community and public speaking engagements. Supervises staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Conducts staff meetings and communicates operational information. Other duties as assigned. Provides overall direction and management of hospice business operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of advanced business management and nonprofit management practices. [Required]
- Knowledge of budget preparations, implementation and fiscal management. [Required]
- Knowledge of basic to intermediate application of Microsoft Office Suite including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as well as internet software. [Required]
- Knowledge of advanced supervisory practices and procedures. [Required]
- Ability to conduct interviews of prospective employees. [Required]
Education
- Bachelor's [Required]
- Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study
- in Business, Health Care Administration, or related field required.
Work Experience
- 10+ healthcare management or related field required with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience [Required]
- Hospice and/or Healthcare experience [Preferred]

Pay Range
$111,800.00 - $207,979.20
Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
