As an IT Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) Project Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between IT and Project Execution (PEx) teams during early project phases, driving alignment on scope, schedule, budget, and design deliverables while ensuring IT requirements are fully integrated into overall project planning. You will coordinate across design leads, procurement, engineering, and OT/IT stakeholders to establish infrastructure, connectivity, and system requirements ahead of construction, with a strong focus on front-end planning, risk identification, and readiness for execution. The FEED Project Manager operates at the intersection of business, engineering, and technology, translating project needs into actionable IT deliverables and ensuring continuity from design through downstream construction and commissioning phases.

Responsibilities/Expectations

Leads and coordinates a variety of sophisticated projects with significant impact to our organization

Understands business requirements, project risks and project lifecycle

Applies expertise and leadership skills to advise staff and to resolve issues

Measures and reports project performance to our leadership team

Cultivates relationship with our clients and company partners; mentors others

Collaborates with others on software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, modern testing methodologies and deployment management

Uses business applications for competitive advantage

Applies knowledge of business challenges to improve products, processes or services

Interprets internal/external customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies responses

Tracks risks, dependencies, and interdependencies across multiple IT workstreams

Supports procurement efforts and helps define field requirements related to infrastructure, security, and communications early in the project lifecycle

Synthesizes and communicates clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership

Identifies and resolves design gaps to maintain momentum and execution readiness

Education/Years of Experience

Required: Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or engineering; minimum seven (7) years’ experience in project management with a minimum three (3) years’ experience in information technology or minimum eleven (11) years’ related business experience

Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Other Requirements

This position may be based in Tulsa, Houston, or Salt Lake City. Candidates not located in Salt Lake City should expect extended periods of travel, as needed
Demonstrates strong organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
Has developed conceptual and practical expertise in own field
