About The Role

The Robert G. Merrick School of Business (MSB) at the University of Baltimore invites applications for an Assistant Professor (tenure track) in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. The position is available beginning Fall 2027 and is subject to final budget approval by the President of the University.

Responsibilities

  • As part of its commitment to innovation in business education, the Merrick School of Business recently launched a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence for Business. This interdisciplinary program prepares future business leaders to leverage AI technologies across business functions. In addition to shepherding the content areas of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management in MSB’s curricula, the successful candidate will contribute to this initiative by teaching graduate courses focused on the application of artificial intelligence in human resources and general management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, or a closely related discipline, or be within one year of completing the Ph.D. at the time of appointment.
  • The ideal candidate will have: Excellent written and oral communication skills, a strong commitment to high-quality teaching in face-to-face, online, and mixed settings at the undergraduate and graduate levels, a promising research agenda with the potential for publication in quality peer-reviewed journals, a willingness to engage with students and collaborate with faculty across disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching online is preferred.
