About The Role
Wine Sales Associate – Discovery Wines and Spirits
At Discovery Wines, we believe that finding the right bottle should feel like an adventure, not a chore. As a Wine Sales Associate, you'll be the person who makes that happen: sharing genuine knowledge, helping customers discover something new, and keeping the store running behind the scenes. - Deep product knowledge
- Ongoing learning across wines & spirits, supported by the team
- Events & tastings

- Real responsibility
- Involvement in day-to-day store operations, not just shelf-stacking
- Additional event hours compensated separately at an hourly rate
What you’ll do
- Be the first point of contact for customers, sharing accurate product knowledge, guiding purchase decisions, and creating a genuinely enjoyable experience in store
- Build and maintain strong technical knowledge of wine & spirits, staying curious about what's on the shelves
- Keep the shop floor and stockroom clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
- Support with stock management including ordering stock, receiving deliveries, and recording goods accurately
- Handle point-of-sale with accuracy, including cash, charge accounts, and correct product pricing
- Complete end-of-day admin: banking reports, KPI spreadsheets, and daily deposit preparation for head office
- Provide delivery support in company vehicles when needed
- Help set up, run, and break down tasting events at store locations or customer premises
You’re a great fit if
- Love talking about and learning about wines and spirits
- Take pride in a well-run space

- Prior experience with retail Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to proactively engage customers via phone, email, or in person
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy cases of wine & spirits, including unloading pallets
- Be honest, reliable and trustworthy
- Hold a valid Bermuda Driver’s license, or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
- Closing date: August 31, 2026
