About The Role

Job Duties: Associate, Trade Processing with Folio Financial, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah. Analyze regulatory reports as required by ensuring that all trades and account activities comply with current regulations and reporting standards. Process various financial transactions, including wire transfers, securities transactions, and fund transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FINRA and IRS regulations. Reconcile client account transactions with firm ledger and records including performing detailed data analysis and comparison. Audit financial transactions and work with internal teams for regulatory reporting and/or external auditors as required. Address and process client requests received and ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation in accordance with internal protocols. Streamlining processes, risk reduction and improving operational processes and procedures, contributing to increased efficiency by working with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: working with the operational flow of a wide variety of investment products from pre-trade to post settlement along with trade booking reviews; manipulating system parameters with BDM (Business Decision Modeling); utilizing operations tools and technologies specifically developed for financial services firm operations; working with financial regulation and compliance, including working with clients to solve assets/ portfolio transfers related situations without a clearly defined process or procedure; identifying process flaws and proposing solutions to maximize efficiency; analyzing large data sets of 10,000+ lines and synthesizing them into key themes; and analyzing data and configuring operational metrics through self-service tooling, such as Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Data Warehousing, Defensive Design Methods and Robotic process automation.
