The Role

Install, configure, maintain, and support IBM CICS environments on z/OS.
Monitor CICS regions to ensure high availability, stability, and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve CICS-related incidents and production issues.
Perform CICS performance analysis and tuning.
Support application deployments and configuration changes.
Work closely with application developers, system programmers, and infrastructure teams.
Analyze system logs, dumps, and CICS traces to identify and resolve issues.
Participate in system upgrades, maintenance activities, and migration projects.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies.

Who You Are

Minimum 10 years of experience supporting IBM CICS environments.
Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS.
Hands-on experience with CICS TS administration and support.
Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and SDSF.
Knowledge of CICS performance tuning and problem determination.
Experience working with VTAM, TCP/IP, and related connectivity components.
Familiarity with DB2, IMS, or MQ is an advantage.
