Experience
- Network Management Strategy: Architect and plan comprehensive Network Management Systems (NMS) for IP and Optical infrastructure.
- Cloud Migration: Lead the end-to-end migration of NMS applications to cloud platforms, ensuring seamless transition and operational continuity.
- Lifecycle Management: Develop and implement robust lifecycle management strategies for all network management systems to ensure long-term stability and scalability.
- Automation & AI Integration : Drive the integration of automation and AI-driven use cases into existing management systems to enhance operational efficiency and predictive maintenance.
- Vendor Management: Orchestrate strategic partnerships with key vendors, including Cisco and Nokia, for EMS/NMS planning and architectural alignment.
Roles and responsibilities
- OSS Integration : Collaborate with OSS teams to integrate vendor-specific EMS platforms into in-house OSS systems, streamlining monitoring and service operations.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Facilitate regular status reviews to provide clear, actionable updates to leadership and key stakeholders regarding project health and risks.
- Coordination with various stakeholders to resolve any end user issues.
- Work with infra and network teams for allocation of new and existing hardware.
- Maintain Technical Documentation as knowledge base.
- Technical Documentation: Author comprehensive High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level (LLD) design documentation to serve as the blueprint for network architecture projects.
- Identifies operational priorities by assessing operational objectives, determining project objectives, such as efficiency, cost.
- Project Governance: Partner with project management offices (PMO) to monitor progress, manage schedules, and track key project milestones.
Preferred Qualification
- B. Tech in Electronics and Communication.
- Experience: 10-12 years.
- Experience in and/or knowledge NMS / OSS systems and have successfully delivered projects from initiation to closure.
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Good time-management skills, self-starter, able to work on their own.
- Proficiency with IP & Optics network management systems
