IT Systems Administrator (Endpoint & Identity) - (20h and remote work)

About the role

We're looking for an IT Systems Administrator to keep our employees productive and our endpoint and identity infrastructure running smoothly. You'll own the full device lifecycle — from setting up new machines to secure offboarding — and maintain the core tools that keep our environment secure and well-managed across macOS, Linux, and Windows.

What you'll do

Provision, configure, and hand over new devices (Mac, Windows, Linux) and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.

Manage secure offboarding, including device retrieval, account deactivation, and access removal.

Administer and maintain our endpoint management platform (ManageEngine Endpoint Central), including patching and software deployment.

Manage identity and access through Okta (SSO, provisioning, group and policy management).

Administer the Microsoft environment (e.g. Entra ID / Microsoft 365 / Intune).

Deploy, maintain, and monitor antivirus and endpoint security solutions.

Package and roll out software across all operating systems.

Provide hands-on support to employees and resolve hardware, software, and access issues.

Maintain documentation and continuously improve IT processes and automation.

What you bring

Experience administering endpoints across macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Hands-on experience with endpoint/UEM tooling (ManageEngine Endpoint Central or similar).

Experience with identity providers, ideally Okta, and the Microsoft ecosystem (Entra ID / M365 / Intune).

Familiarity with antivirus/endpoint security and software deployment.

Strong troubleshooting skills and a service-oriented mindset.

Good communication skills in English (German is a plus).

Nice to have

Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Experience with onboarding/offboarding automation and IT asset management.
