SR FIELD ENGINEER

About The Role
- Reviews and executes mobilisation plan.
- Compiles project documentation.
- Co-ordinates activities between departments and other groups.
- Compiles & issues work packages.
- Material control and expediting.
- Execution of specialised activities.
- Client & sub-contract liaison.
- Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.
- Assist senior engineers., Proj. Mgr., Section Head.
- Trains and oversees junior engineers.
- Coordinates with Engineering Department.
- Ensures completion of all project field documentation.
- Study project mobilization plans and ensure that all allocated activities are implemented within agreed timeframes.
- Analyse the technical scope and project procedures.
- Ensure availability of construction aids, equipment, materials and consumables to enable effective commencement and continuation of construction activities.
- Undertake forward planning to ensure co-ordination of construction activities, adherence to project timetable and availability of adequate manpower resources.
- Allocate daily activities to foremen and monitor the progress of work to ensure that work is completed on time and meets technical specifications.
- Liaise with client counterparts and sub-contractors to identify and advise on issues. Prepare subsequent correspondence for review by senior colleagues.
- Prepare a comprehensive Daily progress report and Field engineer report. Ensure that all aspects of the offshore installation are monitored and reported.
- Ensure that areas of concern that may have an impact on the project’s progress are discussed with concerned individuals.
- Ensure that ‘as built’ mark-ups are sent to the Engineering department for further action, through the Project Management Teams (PMTs).
- Upon project completion, participate in preparing the Site Certificate and compiling lessons learned.
- Compliance in accordance with Company policies & procedures, Policy of Integrity & Code of Conduct and HSE standards.
- Participate in fulfilling department Objectives
- Prepare lessons learned and good practices to enhance operation efficiency and capture good practices for future implementation
- Schedule monitoring and preparation of micro schedule for every activity / campaign and to monitor / report daily progress against that highlighting any areas or concern and reason for delays and propose mitigation action.
- B.Sc. Engineering.
- 5 year’s experience in offshore construction
- Good English communication skills.
- Report writing skills.
- Good communication skills and a committed team player.
- Willingness to work onshore & offshore.
- Knowledge of personnel and equipment.
- Thorough understanding of offshore operations.
