WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Nike is a highly collaborative environment, and you will be part of a connected network of HR professionals and business leaders.

  • You will report to the People Solutions Director for France and act as a trusted coach and consultant to people managers across the French organization (corporate and retail), as well as a small number of French‑speaking store teams in Belgium, when needed.
  • You will partner closely with the European HQ People Solutions teams and Centres of Expertise to implement HR programs, ensure local requirements are reflected, and leverage specialist expertise.
  • You will collaborate with People Solutions Consulting peers across other regions to share best practices, particularly around day‑to‑day HR case management and operational challenges.
  • You will build and manage strong relationships with key business stakeholders across Retail and Corporate, ensuring teammate needs and business priorities are effectively represented.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced, pragmatic, and solution‑oriented HR professional to support our Nike teammates in France, based in our Paris office.

This role plays a critical part in delivering a consistent, high‑quality teammate experience across both retail and corporate populations. You will provide hands‑on HR expertise and practical solutions across a wide range of employee‑related topics, while partnering closely with business leaders, HR colleagues, and our European Headquarters.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and can balance empathy, sound judgment, and operational efficiency. You build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and use your HR expertise to both resolve issues and continuously improve how we work.

Essential requirements

  • Proven experience managing a high volume of HR cases in a complex environment
  • Experience in a dynamic, operational setting; retail experience is a strong plus
  • Solid knowledge of HR processes, policies, and practices across the employee lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of French employment law and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, balancing attention to detail with speed and pragmatism
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working across functions and regions
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Workday is an advantage
  • Fluency in both French and English with strong written and verbal communication skills

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This is primarily a hands‑on, day‑to‑day HR consulting and case management role.

Daily, you will be responsible for managing and resolving a high volume of HR queries, working closely with people managers, employees, People Solutions teams, Business HR, and Centres of Expertise. You will provide practical, expert guidance and coaching across the full employee lifecycle, including:

  • Employee relations and performance management
  • Compensation and benefits inquiries
  • Absence management and wellbeing topics
  • Learning, development, and training delivery
  • DEI-related topics
  • Local legal, regulatory, and policy matters

You will use HR systems and tools (ServiceNow and Workday) to manage cases efficiently, ensure accurate documentation, and generate insights into trends within the teammate population.

In addition to day‑to‑day delivery, you may periodically lead or contribute to high‑impact HR initiatives in France. You will also use your local knowledge and operational experience to proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, drive efficiencies, and strengthen best practices.
