Job Purpose: To develop cost-effective RO designs and oversee development of P-CODO and CODO ROs, including estimating, budgeting, financial controls, and reporting, within defined standards, costs, and timelines

1. Engineering Drawings for Existing and New ROs, Estimating, Costing & Approvals

• Site survey, levels, as-built study and planning as per standards.
• Developing execution drawings.
• Ensure that the facilities required by the Divisional Manager / TSM / Franchisee and engineering optimization are fulfilled for the final layout.
• Ensure proper planning of the facilities – facilities should not be over-designed or under-designed for the requirement.
• Making estimates and processing financial approvals.
• Making tender documents, coordination with procurement for award of the work and issuance of POs.

1. Coordination for Construction of Facilities at Retail Outlets

• Conducting site kick-off meetings.
• Preparation of schedules, progress monitoring and project control.
• Construction of the ROs as per standards/QAQC/HSE within the given budget and time frames.
• Coordination with contractors, ZE and DE for timely completion of activities.
• Ensure that materials such as tanks, dispensers, tyre inflator, totem, canopy etc. are ordered timely and sourced from registered vendors only.
• Site inspections.
• Billing and payments.
• Record keeping.
• Timely MISs.

1. Engineering Drawings and Standardisation/SOPs

• Guide the field team and franchisees on getting the ROs standardised.
• Review standard drawings periodically and make changes as required.
• Develop new drawings, specifications, SOPs as needed.
• Update systems periodically.
• Review, revise and develop new formats, templates, MISs as needed.

1. Normative Cost

• Review the estimated NC for proposed Retail Outlets.
• Provide actual NC for constructed ROs.
• Review TS documents.
• Ensure correct NC is included in TS.

1. Inspection of Retail Outlets

• Carry out engineering inspections of Retail Outlets to check for facilities and safety.
• Carry out asset verification inspections of Retail Outlets.

1. Vendor Management

• Develop new vendors for equipment supply and support head supply chain in vendor development.
• Monitor and balance vendor workload equitably.
• Review and revise specifications periodically.
• Publish vendor loading.
• Publish vendor feedback periodically.
• Publish material requirements proactively to supply chain and vendors.

1. Coordination and Miscellaneous

• Coordinate with RHs, SE, DE, FE.
• Coordinate with franchisees.
• Coordinate with procurement and finance.
• Coordinate with HO BD team, head supply chain and other internal departments.
• Undertake activities as assigned by the company.

Qualification

Graduate Engineer or Postgraduate in Marketing Management.

Experience

Relevant experience: 5 to 10 years.
