About The Role

Develops and executes sourcing strategies for designated categories, commodities, and projects to maximize supplier value-add and drive continuous improvement in procurement and supply chain activities. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements addressable through third-party suppliers, ensuring effective communication and understanding of procurement goals. Conducts market research, analyzing industry and supplier profiles, trends, and best practices to inform sourcing decisions and enhance organizational competitiveness. Performs internal data collection and spend analysis, applying in-depth knowledge to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and process optimization. Designs and implements category, commodity, and project-level strategies, coordinating with internal partners to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Manages formal competitive bid events, from solicitation to analysis, applying negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers. Administers supplier contracting processes, ensuring the development of robust agreements that protect organizational interests and comply with relevant regulations. Coordinates supplier integration with internal partners, fostering effective collaboration and communication throughout the procurement lifecycle. Establishes and manages supplier relationship management processes, focusing on performance metrics, continuous improvement, and fostering positive long-term relationships with key suppliers.
