About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About the Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Food & Beverage Licensing Manager to join the resorts Beverage team.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are

  • Build and maintain the end ‑ to ‑ end licensing roadmap for Food & Beverage operations (restaurants, bars/lounges, in ‑ venue service points, storage areas, kitchens, outdoor spaces), mapping initial approvals, renewals, amendments, and closures.
  • Own a central license register (master tracker) covering legal entity documents, trade/operational licenses, alcohol/beverage permissions where applicable, health & hygiene certificates, music/entertainment permits, signage, outdoor seating, terrace use, delivery, and vehicle/transport approvals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with relevant Emirate ‑ level and federal authorities (e.g., Economic Development, Municipality/Public Health, Tourism Authority, Civil Defense, Police/Events, and other regulators as applicable) to obtain, amend, and renew approvals.
  • Lead all event ‑ related licensing and notifications (e.g., celebrations, tastings, brand activations, outdoor events, one ‑ off extensions of hours/areas), coordinating site plans, crowd management, entertainment permits, and security/Civil Defense clearances.
  • Oversee authorized PROs, translation/legalization services, and specialized consultants; negotiate scopes, SLAs, and fees.
  • Maintain accurate license files (digital and physical), logs of submissions and approvals, and a library of approved layouts/certificates.
  • Work with the respective outlet management team and designate Venue Licensing Champions in each outlet.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications

  • 4–6 years in licensing/compliance for hospitality/ Food & Beverage , large venues, or integrated resorts in the UAE; proven track record managing multi ‑ venue portfolios and events permits.
  • Working knowledge of UAE/Emirate ‑ level licensing frameworks, municipal public health, tourism/entertainment permits, Civil Defense requirements, and HACCP/food safety.
  • Advantageous: experience with alcohol licensing and responsible service standards where applicable; Arabic reading or business proficiency.
  • Familiarity with e ‑ government portals and document legalization/attestation processes.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Law, or Public Administration; compliance or food ‑ safety certifications a plus (e.g., HACCP).
  • Fluent English: Arabic or an additional language is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, document management systems, and tracker dashboards (e.g., Excel/SharePoint/Power BI).
