Within GCS, the Marketing team is responsible for creating an end-to-end global marketing strategy and distribution plan for our prospect & customer segments around the world. We’re looking for graduate level interns to support the GCS marketing vision as a Marketing Intern. This is a fast-paced team driving the development of commercial customer solutions at America Express.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to uncover insights that inform creative marketing strategy and future enhancements to the customer experience.
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to support the development of compelling marketing content and messaging tailored for commercial audiences.
- Design ideas for marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies to drive business growth and deepen customer relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Analytics, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations that communicate findings and support decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in full-time graduate degree program.
- Graduate degree candidates must have a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Candidate with 3+ years of relevant professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in commercial payments and marketing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex concepts or problems into clear insights and recommendations
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to continually learn about the changing payments landscape and emerging technologies.
- Ability to collaborate with and build strong relationships with leaders, colleagues, and cross-functional partners across the enterprise to deliver value.
- Strong project management skills, communication skills, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated resilience, proactive mindset, and a willingness to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in analytical and presentation tools, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to enhance research, analytics, problem solving, and productivity.
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions
