Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our established Project Management team in Perth.

GHD's WA Project Management group partners with clients to plan and deliver complex facilities, infrastructure and capital works projects across Australia. Our team provides project management, design management and contract administration services across a diverse portfolio of work, from nationally significant Defence projects to major infrastructure programs in the Indian Ocean Territories.

We also play a key role in supporting GHD's broader transport, water, energy and environment businesses, working closely with technical specialists to help deliver projects that create lasting value for our clients and communities.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team with a strong project delivery focus and contribute to some of the region's most interesting and impactful projects.

Working within our experienced Project Management Team, this position offers a great variety of projects and will see you involved in and assisting with:

Project Management and Contract Administration (PMCA) of complex industrial, commercial, buildings and infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, providing oversight of technical, commercial and delivery requirements to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, managing project governance, communication and engagement to support successful project outcomes
Support business development activities, including identifying opportunities, preparing proposals and contributing to the growth of the Project Management business

What you will bring to the team

Relevant tertiary qualifications & proven experience in PMCA to deliver successful outcomes
Understanding of project governance structures, construction methodologies and risk management
Good verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ideally previous experience delivering PMCA (or Assistant PMCA) services for Defence projects or related industries within Western Australia
Industrial and commercial building and infrastructure projects or programs experience is essential
