About The Role

Partner with Consumer Banking leadership and regional stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives aligned with business goals and growth priorities.
Support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
Analyze business performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
Develop financial models, business cases, and management insights to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and governance forums.
Coordinate cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives to ensure timely and effective execution.
Monitor key business metrics and recommend actions to improve profitability, productivity, and customer outcomes.
Facilitate governance, regulatory, and management committee activities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Drive continuous improvement in business processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support collaboration and effective delivery of business priorities.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or Banking, or possession of professional certifications like Chartered Accountant or Chartered Banker

5+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, or consulting within financial services
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and performance tracking
Prior experience in business finance or internal audit within the financial services sector, or external audit experience at a Big Four firm, is highly advantageous
Strong financial analytical capabilities with a keen ability to identify gaps and weaknesses, complemented by effective problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to see the big picture, anticipate trends, and align business plans with long-term goals
Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics
Proficient in data analysis, market research, and deriving insights to support decision-making
Skilled in identifying issues, evaluating options, and implementing effective solutions
Clear and persuasive communicator, both in writing and verbally, across all levels of the organization
