About The Role

Key Responsibilities: •Installation and Commissioning: Set up, test, and commission new marine electronics, radars, satellite communications, and bridge equipment •Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose complex electrical or software issues and perform field service or emergency repairs at sea or in port. •Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular system checks and mandatory compliance radio surveys (such as GMDSS support). •Documentation: Write clear, detailed service reports and document all maintenance work. •Client Support: Provide technical guidance and customer support both on-site and remotely. •Radio survey & VDR APT – conduct radio survey and VDR APT and provide class documentations •Oversee service orders, vessel attendance, ensuring prompt resolution, troubleshooting, and service requests. •Maintain strong relationships with clients and act as a point of contact during vessel attendance. •Coordinate with internal teams and agents to ensure seamless vessel attendance and service fulfilment. •Assist in back-end preparation at office and closing deals by providing technical insights and support. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field. •Minimum 10 years of experience in Vessel NAVCOM equipment’s installation, service, and support. •Proven experience in Vessel attendance and troubleshooting. •Strong understanding of technical support and troubleshooting in navigation or communication systems. •Good communication and interpersonal skills to handle customer interactions effectively. •Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. •GOC, CDC and UAE driving license will be value added. •Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
