Your Mission

Join Stryker’s Research and Development team and contribute to technologies that support the future of neurosurgical navigation. During this six-month Medical Engineering Internship, you will explore how software, hardware, data, and tracking technologies come together in medical devices used in operating rooms worldwide. You will gain hands-on experience in a MedTech internship environment, strengthen your technical skills, and work on meaningful projects that connect innovation with real-world healthcare impact. This student internship in Germany is designed to help you build practical expertise, take ownership of defined tasks, and grow your career in medical technology.

What You'll Do

  • Support the development of new tracking technologies for surgical navigation systems.
  • Contribute to evaluation concepts that combine software, hardware, and technical data.
  • Conduct research on medical engineering, surgical navigation, and tracking technologies.
  • Analyze technical data to support technology development and innovation activities.
  • Collaborate with an international team and contribute ideas for future medical device concepts.

What You'll Bring

  • Enrollment in a Master's degree in biomedical engineering, medical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, information technology, natural sciences, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of data processing , image processing , electronics , or software development .
  • Experience with MATLAB or Python ; knowledge of C , C++ , or similar programming languages is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with an interest in innovative medical technologies and complex hardware and software systems
  • Good English language skills, minimum B2.

Germany Pay Range

  • Freiburg 39Std : €2.476,89 EUR Monthly
