We’re looking for a Parts Interpreter to join our Alice Springs team — right in the heart of Australia. Enjoy working Monday to Friday in a permanent role while living in a region known for its stunning landscapes , strong community and rich Aboriginal culture.

What you’ll be doing

As a Parts Interpreter at Hastings Deering, you will

  • Customer First: Demonstrate a strong commitment to exceptional customer service through both face‑to‑face interactions and phone support.
  • Build Brand Loyalty: Strengthen customer connections to the CAT brand by consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Stay Proactive: Diligently manage emergency back orders and complete assigned tasks with accuracy and urgency.
  • Keep Us On Track: Support the reconciliation of cash sale account entries to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
  • Hands-On Impact: Contribute to efficient daily operations through general warehouse duties.

What you’ll need

A successful teammate will have experience in

  • CAT Knowledge Advantage: Familiarity with CAT products, parts, and services is desirable.
  • Customer-Focused: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills .
  • Tech Confident: Possess intermediate computer skills to support daily tasks.
  • Driven to Learn: Demonstrated self‑motivation and the ability to understand and operate within our business systems.
  • Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
  • Clear Communicator: Well‑developed verbal and written communication skills .
  • Warehouse Ready: Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
