About The Role
Essential Functions
- Direct responsibility for Profit and Loss / Growth of Food and Beverage business within the defined region.
- Compiles reports for Director of Food & Beverage and Senior Director who shares with VP - Sales, VP - Business Development and General Sales Managers across the USA evaluating Food and Beverage Market performance.
- Responsible for market forecasting, strategic plan for growth, monitors and reports on market penetration.
- Trains, monitors and motivates the Territory Managers, Architectural Design & Engineering Reps and Area Managers to promote and sell into the Food and Beverage Market.
- Responsible for National and Regional Accounts in the Region - could include main lead for Key Accounts.
- Handle the key relationships for Food and Beverage accounts, Architectural Design and Engineering firms, and Design Build firms, along with Specialty Contractors in the region.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years’ industry experience in similar sales, design, or equivalent role.
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills.
- Must be very flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment.
- Has the ability to organize and prioritize activities.
- Must be computer literate with experience using technology and customer relationship management software (Salesforce.com), and Microsoft 365.
- Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to physically transport sample case and literature to customers (approximately 40 lbs. weight)
- Must possess reliable transportation (driving time in a typical day – 30%
- This position requires wearing a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, high-visibility vest, and depending on the task, may also require ear protection, respirators, safety harnesses, and specialized protective clothing, while on the worksite.
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000
Bonus potential (First 2 years average): approx. $75,000 to $100,00 plus
Supplemental Pay Types: Bonus Pay, car allowance, expenses
