Field Service / Commissioning Engineer PLC & Automation

About The Role
- If you’re hands-on with PLCs, control panels, wiring, and on-site commissioning, this role will feel familiar.
- We’re looking for a Field Engineer to support on-site installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of industrial automation systems.
You’ll be working directly on-site to
- Wire up and check PLC panels, sensors, and field devices
- Perform I/O testing and signal checks
- Support SAT and commissioning activities
- Troubleshoot issues during system setup and go-live
- Make sure systems are running correctly before handover
What kind of experience fits
This is for you if you’ve done work like
- PLC-based installation, testing, or commissioning
- Field service / machine setup / production line support
- Electrical troubleshooting (wiring, sensors, control panels)
- Working with PLC systems like Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Schneider
- Reading electrical drawings / schematics on-site
Exposure to automation, robotics, AGV/AMR, or warehouse systems is a plus.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical / Automation / Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
- 2+ years hands-on field or automation experience
- Comfortable working on-site and troubleshooting under real conditions
- Applicants must have valid authorisation to work in Singapore
Work setup
- On-site role (CBD base + client sites)
- Frequent travel to project locations (within Singapore)
Compensation
- S$4,500 – S$5,500/month (based on experience)
