About the location

Located on the southeastern coast of the pristine island of Lāna’i, lies the secluded retreat of Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i, an oceanfront destination offering travelers a curated, personalized island escape. The five-star, five-diamond Resort offers outdoor restaurants, including Nobu Lāna’i, a kid’s club, Tennis Garden, cultural programming, beach and pool with spacious seating areas nestled among tropical gardens, Hawanawana spa and luxury retail boutiques. Built on lava outcroppings, the award-winning Jack Nicklaus-signature golf course features ocean views on every hole. Island activities, many managed by Four Seasons include sunset sails and whale watch tours, horseback riding, sporting clays and archery, biking, hiking, and aerial adventures at Lanai Adventure Park or learn about Hawaiian wayfinding at the on-site observatory.

MALIBU FARM HOST/ESS

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Host/ess who share s a passion for excellence and who infuse s enthusiasm into everything they do. Ou r teams h ave the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge o f the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization r equired .

MALIBU FARM

Perched above Hulopoʻe Bay, Los Angeles' Malibu Farm, a favorite of local residents , surfers and A-list celebrities alike, features the freshest local and organic ingredients for delicious lunch offerings. In the evening hours, relax poolside with refreshing island cocktails as the sun sets on another glorious day.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Host/ess creates a warm and welcoming first impression by greeting guests, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth flow of service throughout the dining experience. Resp onsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Welcome guests, manage reservations, coordinate seating arrang ements, and communicate restaurant offerings, daily specials, and menu information to ensure a seamless and welcoming dining experience
Escort guests to their tables, communicate guest preferences and special requests to the service team, and maintain accurate reservation records and guest profiles to deliver personalized, anticipatory service
Support dining room operations by clearing and sanitizing tables, resetting place settings, replenishing guest amenities, maintaining side stations, and ensuring all guest-facing areas are clean, organized, and presentation-ready
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, waiting areas, menus, and reservation systems while ensuring all materials meet appearance standards
Professionally answer phones, manage reservations, respond to guest inquiries, and address concerns or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and service excellence
Assist service team members as needed to support efficient restaurant operations and an exceptional guest experience throughout service periods

WHAT TO BRING

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required .
Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
Hawaii Food Handler's Card is required for this role
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs , and push/pull as needed during shifts
Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment
