Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Planner to join Ferrovial's Team at the international Project ITER in the South of France.
The person in this double role will report to Project Director and will be responsible for
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Project Programme up to date
- Managing contractual aspects of the Project (Client’s and Subcontractors’ contracts)
Your mission as a Planner
- Maintain the Works Programme up to date.
- Identify and foresee possible Programme difficulties and their potential impacts on the project.
- Monitor the Works progress.
- Evaluate various scenarios in case of possible modifications.
- Implement resources in Works programme.
- Manage the subcontractors Schedule and its integration and coherence with the main Works Programme.
- Produce Project progress reports for the Client in line with the contractual requirements.
Your mission as a Contract Engineer
- Monitor modifications (scope, programme modifications, delays and penalizations).
- Monitor internal contractual requirements.
- Evaluate selling prices in response to modifications proposed by the client.
- Identify contractual risks and produce periodical reports.
- Be in charge of official communication to client and subcontractors.
- Produce subcontracts and other contractual documents.
Who are we looking for?
- Qualification in Civil or Industrial Engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in a project Scheduler or Planner role
- Relevant software experience (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Capacity to work within a multicultural team
- A proactive person with ability to analyse the carried-out work and foresee the Project needs.
- A highly motivated and organized person with an eye to detail
- Ability to execute multiple tasks and work under deadlines pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Languages: English – professional proficiency is essential, knowledge of French is desirable
- Driving license
