About The Role

SearchPlus HR is currently seeking a highly qualified Consultant General Surgeon with an American Board Certification, UK CCT, or another recognized Western qualification on behalf of a leading healthcare provider in the United Arab Emirates . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Surgeon to join a prestigious healthcare organization offering advanced surgical facilities, a collaborative clinical environment, and an attractive compensation package.

The successful candidate will provide expert surgical care for patients with a wide range of general surgical conditions. The role involves performing elective and emergency surgical procedures, managing complex cases, and delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with international clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of oral, maxillofacial, and facial conditions requiring surgical intervention.
  • Perform advanced oral and maxillofacial procedures, including facial trauma surgery, orthognathic surgery, reconstructive surgery, dental implant surgery, and treatment of oral pathology.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide comprehensive pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient care.
  • Collaborate with dentists, orthodontists, ENT specialists, oncologists, plastic surgeons, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and continuous medical education while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Requirements

  • American Board Certification, UK CCT, or another recognized Western qualification in General Surgery.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of post-board/CCT experience as a Consultant General Surgeon.
  • Extensive experience in general and laparoscopic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, emergency surgery, and other major surgical procedures.
  • Strong clinical, surgical, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care and the highest standards of clinical excellence.
