Position Summary

AB Facility Services is seeking a hands-on Commercial Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across commercial client locations. This role is ideal for a well-rounded maintenance professional with approximately 3+ years of HVAC experience and strong skills in general building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other repairs.

The ideal candidate is comfortable performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting building systems, and working independently while delivering high-quality service to commercial clients. Travel between client sites may be required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs on commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance issues.
Perform general handyman repairs, including carpentry, drywall, painting, doors, locks, ceilings, flooring, and other building components.
Complete preventive maintenance and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
Diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs or additional service needs.
Travel between assigned commercial client locations as needed.
Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.
Maintain professional communication and customer service at all client locations.
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable building codes.

Requirements

3+ years of commercial HVAC and/or commercial building maintenance experience.
Hands-on experience performing HVAC maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Strong general maintenance skills with experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs .
Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of commercial building systems.
Comfortable performing both HVAC-related work and general handyman/maintenance duties.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
HVAC certification is preferred.
OSHA certification is a plus.
