Position Overview

We are seeking a detail ‑ oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated testing, a solid understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams to deliver high ‑ quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and standards
  • Review product specifications and user stories, translating them into detailed test plans and comprehensive test cases
  • Collaborate with development teams, product owners, and business analysts to plan and define quality testing for user stories throughout sprint cycles
  • Execute test runs and document results thoroughly
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive notes and communicate findings to the development team
  • Perform retesting to ensure defects are resolved and the product is ready for Product Owner acceptance
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure scheduled deployments do not impact existing functionality
  • Identify areas suitable for test automation and recommend effective solutions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes and team practices
  • Utilize tools such as Rally to manage test cases and track defects
  • Perform and document root cause analysis on identified defects
  • Test RESTful and SOAP APIs to validate integration and backend behavior
  • Apply strong SQL skills to query, validate , and analyze complex datasets, supporting backend and data ‑ driven testing

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Generative AI development tools
  • Strong analytical and problem ‑ solving abilities
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast ‑ paced environment
  • Experience working within Agile development teams
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products and technologies
  • Proven experience translating requirements into clear, actionable test cases
  • Strong communication skills with excellent documentation capabilities
  • Experience working with databases, strong SQL proficiency , and hands ‑ on automation testing skills

Nice to Have Skills

  • Demonstrate hands on experience with AWS cloud services
  • Perform API automation
  • Hold mainframe experience to support testing of legacy and core systems
  • Develop automation frameworks for Regression and Smoke test suites
