Hong Kong, China Hong Kong, Hong Kong (On-Site) The role You will support the successful delivery of Information and Communication Systems (ICS) bids and projects - particularly those involving SCADA systems - across Hong Kong and the wider Asia-Pacific region. The role is primarily office-based, with occasional night-shift site visits to perform inspections, audits and quality management activities. Key responsibilities Quality Planning & Project Execution Develop, implement and maintain Project Quality Management Plans (PQMPs) Provide quality-related effort, cost and resource estimates during bidding phases Plan and deliver quality assurance activities required for tenders, projects, suppliers and SCADA system developments Ensure adherence to customer, technical, regulatory and contractual quality requirements Monitor configuration and change-control processes to maintain design integrity Quality Management Activities Conduct internal audits, site inspections and reviews of quality documentation across ICS/SCADA project activities Manage non-conformities, including NCRs, root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions Ensure effective control, calibration and use of tools, test and measuring equipment Act as a decision maker at technical and design gate reviews, ensuring solution maturity and readiness. Monitor supplier performance, audits and SCADA-related KPIs, and drive resolution of supplier non-conformities in coordination with internal stakeholders Collect, analyse and consolidate quality data to support decision-making Oversee customer satisfaction processes and ensure any customer concerns are captured, investigated and resolved Compliance, Certification & Governance Ensure all ICS/SCADA project activities comply with relevant standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 27001). Support external and internal certification Requirements Strong proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (written and spoken) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related disciplines Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality assurance, ideally within the rail industry ISO 9001 internal auditor qualification Good to have ISO 27001 internal auditor qualification Knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001 Experience on SCADA system projects Green Card (required). Green Label (RSI) for MTR works Knowledge of the railway industry, safety and environmental protection Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
