About The Role

The Role in Brief

  • Respect and apply the test program defined by the offer.
  • Prepare the samples for testing using prescribed testing methods, following testing standards / specifications, as required.
  • Prepare test plan, issue test data sheets for recording the test results / findings.
  • Apply the interpretations sheets (OSM, CTL, etc…) during the tests
  • Perform construction checks and other testing on electrical products according to prescribed testing methods, standards / specifications appropriate to the sample, as required, as complexity warrants.
  • Accurately record test data and equipments used for tests, if applicable
  • Record the consumable use, if needed
  • Support and supervise if needed Lab. Technicians to conduct testing according to relevant standards.
  • Review test results / data provided by Lab. Technicians.
  • Manage the samples for subcontracted tests
  • Review the results provided by the subcontracting labs
  • Prepare test reports
  • Transfer for signatory the test folders with all technical documents
  • Transfer the samples to login clerks when tests are finished
  • Provide feedback to testing Manager regarding processes and recommendations for improvements.
  • Help product line manager to train engineers
  • Help product line manager to research new standard

  • Knowledge of testing of electrical products from laboratory / manufacturing.
