What's The Role

We're seeking an experienced Driver to join our team. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs.

Lindsay Transport is Australia’s largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres. We’re part of the Lindsay Group, a national leader in transport and logistics, connecting regional communities with key markets across Australia.

We are seeking a local HC/MC Drivers to join the team in the Bundaberg depot for pickup and delivery work.

Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of freight.

What You’ll Do

• Drive refrigerated vehicles delivering fresh, chilled & general freight across Bundaberg region
• Ensure freight is delivered safely, on time, and at the right temperature
• Use in-cab tech to scan freight & record deliveries
• Complete pre-starts and daily safety checks
• Follow road laws and safety procedures
• Work with loaders & depot teams to get the job done
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Operate in a safety-first environment

What You’ll Bring

• Current HC or MC licence
• Forklift Licence preferable
• Proven commercial driving experience
• Refrigerated or cold-chain experience is helpful, but not essential
• A safe driving record (current driving history report required)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Well presented, professional and reliable

What You'll Bring

• Current and valid driver licence to perform the above-mentioned role.
• Previous Commercial Driving Experience detailed in your resume.
• Current BFM, preferred by not essential.
• A safe driving record, you will be required to provide a copy of your driving history.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
• Well presented, professional and reliable.
