Warehouse Supervisor

The Role

Our Mareeba Rural Branch is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor, with a strong rural industry background to lead our warehouse team.

This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading a team by example, and delivering exceptional service to our farming customers. You'll play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring our warehouse operations support the needs of regional communities.

Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to

• Maintain rural store front and ensures availability of merchandise
• Ensure stock is ordered, stored, and sold in line with requirements
• Correctly display product in store in line with marketing requirements
• Schedule and assign tasks to employees working in the shop
• Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal and legislative requirements
• Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers.
• Protect employees and customers by maintaining a clean and safe store environment

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a supervisory role ideally in a Warehouse environment
• Inventory management
• Sales experience within the Rural Sector
• Ability to motivate, mentor and develop team members
• Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to manage staff effectively.
• Prior experience with loading and unloading of freight, ideally perishable goods.
• Excellent planning & organisational skills with good attention to detail
• Flexibility, resilience with the ability to work with ever changing priorities.
• Solid computer skills
• Well-developed communication skills
• Current & valid Forklift licence
