Are you an experienced Head Chef looking for a role that offers variety, career growth and the chance to make a real impact?

We're searching for a passionate Head Chef Tournant to support our portfolio of Gold Coast venues. This is a unique opportunity to step away from managing a single kitchen and instead work across a range of established pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues, leading teams, driving standards and helping venues succeed when they need it most.

Whether you're supporting a venue through annual leave, leading a kitchen during a vacancy, assisting with a new opening or helping reset operations, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional food experiences across some of the Gold Coast's most popular hospitality destinations.

What you'll be doing

• Leading high-performing kitchen teams across multiple venues
• Maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation
• Coaching and developing chefs to build confident, capable teams
• Managing food costs, labour and stock to achieve strong commercial results
• Supporting operational improvements and implementing best practice
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace health standards
• Working closely with the Executive Chef, Area Chef and venue management to achieve success

• What we're looking for
• You'll be a hands-on leader who enjoys working in different environments and knows how to quickly build trust with new teams.

You'll also have

• Previous experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume venue
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Experience managing kitchen financials, including labour and food costs
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive, adaptable attitude with a solutions-focused mindset
• A current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle, as regular travel between Gold Coast venues is an essential part of the role
• Flexibility to travel across the Gold Coast region as required
