About The Role
- CMP Co-VP Events are responsible for planning and executing CMP Home Base's signature events and recurring social programming throughout the year.
- Note: You do not need to co-apply with another applicant.
Time Commitment
4 - 6 hours/week
Term of Employment
July 2026 - April 2027
Main Responsibilities
- -
- Plan and execute CMP's two anchor transition events: the Welcome Week Kickoff (September) and the Mid-Year Reset (January)
- -
- Organize recurring drop-in coffee chats and casual monthly mixers throughout the academic year
- -
- Coordinate logistics including venue booking, guest outreach, and event flow
- -
- Work closely with Co-VPs Marketing to promote events and drive attendance
- -
- Gather post-event feedback and iterate on programming based on what first-years respond to
- -
- Foster a low-pressure, welcoming atmosphere at all CMP touchpoints

- Strong organizational and operational skills

- Creative, people-oriented, and energized by building community

- Able to make decisions independently and adapt under pressure

- Excellent communication skills and strong time management
- -
- Experience with event planning or community-building is an asset
