About The Role

Position Overview

The Marketing Intern – Content Creator will support the university’s Marketing & Communications team by developing engaging visual and graphic design content that highlights campus life, academic programs, and university initiatives. This role is ideal for a creative, versatile student interested in storytelling across multiple platforms, including photography and design.

Key Responsibilities

Capture and edit photos at university events, including academic, campus announcements and student life activities
Design promotional materials for print and digital platforms, including flyers, posters, social media graphics, and email visuals
Maintain organized files of photos, graphics, and written materials
Assist in developing visual content that aligns with the university’s brand standards and messaging
Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Upperclassmen preferred
Strong creative skills across at least two of the following areas: photography, writing, or graphic design
Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom) or similar platforms
Basic understanding of social media platforms and content creation
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
Experience in event photography, content writing,
Current Mass Communication major or equivalent
