About The Role
Inbox Business Technologies is looking for an energetic and driven Junior Oracle Apps DBA to join our growing enterprise applications team. The ideal candidate will assist in the administration, monitoring, patching, and cloning of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2 environments running on Oracle Database. You will work closely with senior DBAs, functional consultants, and system administrators to ensure high availability and optimal performance of our ERP systems.

Responsibilities
- Environment Maintenance: Assist in day-to-day administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Oracle EBS R12.2 application and database tiers.
- Patch Management: Support senior team members in applying quarterly CPU/RUP patches and maintenance packs using Oracle Online Patching (ADOP) utility.
- Cloning & Refresh: Perform database and application tier cloning (Rapid Clone) for development, testing, and UAT environment refreshes.
- Services & Concurrent Managers: Monitor and manage Oracle Concurrent Managers, WebLogic Managed Servers (oacore, oafm, forms), and Apache/OHS services.
- AutoConfig & AD Utilities: Execute standard administrative tasks using AD utilities (adadmin, adctrl) and manage configuration parameters via AutoConfig.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Review log files, trace files, and alerts to resolve routine performance bottlenecks or start/stop issues.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of environment architecture, configurations, cloning steps, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator or Junior Oracle Apps DBA, specifically with Oracle EBS R12.2.
- Understanding of Oracle EBS R12.2 dual-file system architecture (Run/Patch file systems) and Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic).
- Familiarity with Oracle database architecture (19c/12c), SQL, and PL/SQL basics.
- Exposure to core DBA commands, Linux/Unix shell scripting, and environment variables setup.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn advanced ERP administration concepts.
