About The Role

PURPOSE: The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a key support role within the HR department, working closely with leadership to ensure effective operation of HR functions. This position encompasses administrative support, total rewards, labor relations, recruitment and performance management, to foster organizational success.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department, including policy updates, benchmarking, employee and leadership handbook updates, and research requests.
  • Support the Total Rewards team with benefit and compensation administration, elections, leaves of absence (LOA), and annual benefit-related activities.
  • Provide administrative support for labor relations matters including handling grievances, updating seniority rosters, and scheduling meetings. Support the management of collective bargaining agreement (CBA) documents and Union Letters of Understanding while maintaining accurate records in relevant systems.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities such as job fairs, community events, prescreening candidates, scheduling interviews, and processing pre-employment requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage onboarding programs for new hires and leaders. Post and manage job requisitions within the HRIS system.
  • Support the performance management calendar by issuing key communications, reminders, and developing insightful data reports.
  • Maintain Human Resources, Talent Management and Total Rewards SharePoint sites.
  • Collaborate and support strategic workforce planning initiatives to align HR processes with organizational goals.
  • Provide assistance on specialized and ad hoc projects within the Human Resources Function.
  • Maintain and update HR records and systems, ensuring data accuracy and security.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience : Associate degree in Human Resources, Business or similar discipline with 2 years progressively responsible experience in Human Resource discipline. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Professional HR certification preferred.

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to present in a positive, respectful and professional manner to internal and external customers
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task workload with shifting priorities
