Who we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with 8+ years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-based data warehousing solutions on the Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, performance tuning, data modeling, and cloud technologies. The candidate should be capable of working with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure data solutions.
What you will be responsible for
As a Senior Snowflake Developer you will be responsible for
- Design, develop, and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Create and optimize Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, tasks, streams, and stored procedures.
- Develop and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines for loading data from multiple source systems into Snowflake.
- Implement Snowflake best practices for performance, security, and cost optimization.
- Perform data migration from on-premises databases to Snowflake.
- Build and maintain data ingestion frameworks using batch and real-time processing.
- Design dimensional and data vault models for analytical and reporting workloads.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
- Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Monitor and optimize warehouse utilization and query performance.
- Implement clustering, partitioning, materialized views, and caching strategies.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues.
- Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Work with cloud storage solutions including S3, Azure Data Lake, and Blob Storage.
- Implement data pipelines using ETL tools such as Informatica, Matillion, DBT, Talend, Airflow, or ADF.
- Support API and file-based data integrations.

- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud Platform.
- Advanced SQL programming expertise.
- Experience with Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Snowpipe, External Tables, and Stored Procedures.
- Experience with Python or Shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Snowflake Certification (SnowPro Core / Advanced) preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Data Governance and Metadata Management tools.
- Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Asset Management, or Regulatory Reporting domains is a plus.
Additional & Nice to Have skillset
- Databricks experience.
- Snowflake Native Apps and Snowpark development.
- Experience with Kafka/Event Streaming platforms.
- Knowledge of AI/ML data pipelines and analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong ownership and accountability mindset.
