Master Craftsman Quality Inspector Technician

About The Role
- Review shop Travelers for accuracy and completeness
- Use CMM, Faro Arms and other inspection tools and methods to inspect tooling, first article and production parts
- Conduct In-Process, and Final inspections. Highly skilled in inspecting to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
- Conduct Receiving inspection/verification of product and related certifications
- Review certification documents and records required to create a Certificate of Conformance
- Create end item data packets such as Certificates of Conformance, Indented Parts List and Configuration summary for internal and external inspections
- Conduct First Article Inspections using AS9102 Forms and documentation
- Complete customer Source Inspections for detail parts and assemblies
- Verify and control non-conforming product, releasing products, or scrapping them per MRB disposition part of control of NC process)
- Interface with program engineering and customers on nonconformances
- Provide Quality/Inspection verification support to Manufacturing and Engineering personnel
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred
Experience
- 10+ years of professional experience in the required task area required
- Experience working with aerospace specifications and drawings preferred
- Experience using Number/Bubble Drawings to create Inspection Reports preferred
- Composite and Metals experience preferred
Security
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
Physical Requirements
- Able to assess, install, and modify equipment, and inspect machinery
- Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and reach with hands and arms, handle and operate hand/power tools and machine controls
- Perform frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements
- Prolonged periods of standing while operating machinery
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, etc.) for the assigned task
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time

Salary
The projected salary range for this position is $33-38/hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
