Our Team

The Fraud Intelligence team at Q2 is responsible for helping our customers take a proactive stance against fraud and managing the risks of their business. We build and enhance products that evolve with the ever-changing fraud landscape, delivering tangible value for our customers. Our solutions enable them to focus more of their time and energy on their mission: best serving their customers and communities.

The Role

As a Product Owner on the team, you will develop a deep understanding of our customers and the fraud challenges they face. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering leaders to refine and prioritize product features. A key part of the role will be communicating business requirements clearly to Engineering teams. Critical tasks include breaking projects down so they’re ready to be worked, leading sprint planning sessions to connect our priorities to execution, and validating shipped features meet the definition of done.

Requirements

  • ● 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner (or similar role)
  • ● Experience connecting priorities to business outcomes and translating those priorities to clear work for the team
  • ● Demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders across business and technical teams
  • ● Proven ability to engage effectively with customers
  • ● Experience using AI tools in your work
  • ● Bonus: familiarity with the financial industry and fraud prevention products

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Align with Product & Delivery leadership to prioritize product backlog.
  • Define product functionality and write detailed user stories/epics with end-user empathy.
  • Manage sprints: planning, review, and acceptance of completed work.
  • Apply Agile methods to encourage disciplined software development and frequent inspection.
  • Articulate product vision and user stories clearly to teams and clients.
  • Deliver product acceptance criteria and ensure quality delivery.
  • Drive Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and roadmap execution.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s degree; 2–5 years of related experience.
  • Technical background with backend integrations, APIs, and scalable solutions.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and process management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex rollouts with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).
  • Comfortable working across distributed teams.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG) applied across product, design, and engineering to support inclusive user experiences.
  • This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
