We are seeking a Responsible Pharmacist & Junior Medical Advisor to join our team in Sofia (hybrid). In this dual role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical wholesale regulations while supporting Medical Affairs and Scientific Affairs activities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help maintain the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and scientific integrity across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the Responsible Pharmacist in accordance with local legislation.
- Oversee the quality control of goods received at the warehouse.
- Approve GDP release of products to the distribution chain.
- Coordinate internal and external inspections and audits.
- Manage product returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate product recalls in collaboration with the manufacturer and/or Marketing Authorisation Holder (MAH).
- Support continuous medical and product training for the Marketing and Sales teams, including onboarding and ongoing training within your area of responsibility.
- Review speaker engagements for scientific events, including advisory boards, roundtable discussions, medical education meetings, and similar activities.
- Provide medical information to patients, healthcare professionals (HCPs), and other stakeholders within your area of responsibility.
- Ensure medical compliance through the review and approval of educational, promotional, and non-promotional materials and events, in accordance with Zentiva SOPs and industry Codes of Practice.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Master's degree in Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a licensed pharmacist, meeting the requirements to act as a Responsible Pharmacist under local legislation.
- Experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry is considered an advantage.
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, industry guidelines, and the local regulatory framework.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with scientific leaders, healthcare professionals, and regulatory authorities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
- Proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Fluency in English.
