Come join our dynamic Acute Care team, by leading a newly remodeled 42-bed unit equipped with cutting-edge technology.

We are committed to excellence in patient care offering 1 to 1 RN to CNA ratio, Virtual Nursing Support, Assistant Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinator, as well as charge nurses on each shift.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct nursing care and related activities in accordance with MUSC Health Lancaster policies and objectives.
Recommend, develop, and implement policies in collaboration with the Executive Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer.
Engage with physicians and patients to address needs and expectations.
Direct and evaluate patient care delivery.

Experience

Minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
Five years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
Extensive knowledge of the unit’s patient population, healthcare trends, and regional resources.
Strong collaboration skills with colleagues and peers.

Additional Job Description

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program is required. Master's degree preferred or striving to achieve.

Licenses/Certifications

Licensed as a Registered Nurse with the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state is required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) with American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required
