Come join our dynamic Acute Care team, by leading a newly remodeled 42-bed unit equipped with cutting-edge technology.

We are committed to excellence in patient care offering 1 to 1 RN to CNA ratio, Virtual Nursing Support, Assistant Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinator, as well as charge nurses on each shift.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct nursing care and related activities in accordance with MUSC Health Lancaster policies and objectives.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement policies in collaboration with the Executive Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Engage with physicians and patients to address needs and expectations.
  • Direct and evaluate patient care delivery.

Experience

  • Minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
  • Five years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of the unit’s patient population, healthcare trends, and regional resources.
  • Strong collaboration skills with colleagues and peers.

Additional Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program is required. Master's degree preferred or striving to achieve.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse with the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state is required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) with American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required
