Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to play a key role in supporting our expanding business.
This permanent full-time role is pivotal to the smooth day to day running of our feeding facility near Moora, WA . This is WA’s largest feeding facility and is designed to supply Harvest Road’s processing facility, Harvey Beef.
Reporting to the Feedlot Manager, this opportunity will suit a self-motivated person who is hands on and passionate about the agriculture industry. You will have a strong work ethic and be willing to learn and contribute to the team.
About Koojan Downs Feeding Facility
Koojan Downs feeding facility is located 25kms from Moora and 160kms north of Perth. Koojan Downs is part of the integrated beef supply chain for Harvest Road. This integrated beef supply chain ranges from north to southwest of Western Australia and is based on best-practice ecological planning and animal welfare management.

- This is a permanent position, those on short term/working holiday visas will not be considered.
- You will need to have a current driver’s licence and own transport.
Key Responsibilities of the role
- Processing of supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding and approvals in collaboration with Harvest Road Finance Team.
- Maintenance of supplier database.
- Commodity receivals including grain sampling and weighbridge operation.
- Weighbridge operation for livestock receivals and dispatch.
- Responding to enquiries from suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with inventory management and monthly stocktake procedures.
- Perform other tasks and duties as required from time to time as required by the needs of the business.
Ideal skillset
- At least 2+ years of experience with data entry and administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in the region and/or agricultural industry and understanding of agricultural supply chains.
- Strong focus on safety, animal welfare and bio-security standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office.
- Mature and rational approach to problem solving
- Flexibility – able to meet changing requirements
- Initiative and Problem-solving skills.
- Motivated and hard-working, willing to be part of the Koojan team culture.
